Butta Farmers Cooperative Society limited is a legally registered
cooperative with a membership of over 500 coffee farmers located on
the slopes of Mount Elgon, Eastern Uganda, Manafwa District.
The society mobilizes organizes and support Farmers in reducing risks
along the coffee production value chain in order to increase and improve
quantity and quality to earn a premium price.
Our services
We implement a farm model which emphasize farm enterprise mix.
Butta farmers are certified producers and exporters of specialty organic Bugisu Arabica Coffee beans. The green and roasted beans are purely Ugandan Arabica beans with unique dark chocolate and caramel flavors, with balanced medium and smooth acidity.
What to expect!!
Butta Farmers undertake regenerative farming through planting trees for shading coffee, water management and biodiversity; soil reconditioning by applying mulching, composited material and cow dug as well as improved crop management.
