What We Do
BUTTA FARMERS COOPERATIVE
With Butta Farmers Cooperative Society, farmers fully participate in managing and controlling coffee production from plantation, farm management, picking, washing, drying and post-harvest handling
Butta Farmers are mobilized and their knowledge is continuously enhanced by trainings across major core areas including but not limited to regenerative agriculture, environmental sustainability, and nutrition and food security among others through a customized Farm model. The farmer’s coffee is collected and bulked at the central store of the cooperative society and marketed by the society.

- Improved practices (GAPs) among male and female coffee farmers; and
- Improved access to coffee specific knowledge & skills by male and female farmers in the target sub counties/districts
Farming Supply
We assist our farmers in accessing genuine farm through making them readily available and closer.
We offer technical advice on to our coffee farmers, and also assist them in accessing the necessary inputs and services to support their coffee production.
Credit and Savings
Butta Farmers Cooperative Society encourages savings
Butta Farmers Cooperative Society encourages savings, using pooled funds to give loans to members at reasonable interest rates, and providing related financial services.
Farmer Training
We are extending our scope to capacity building
We are extending our scope to capacity building: training new coffee farmers and intending coffee nursery operators in good coffee farming practices as well as providing farming inputs to coffee farmers at subsidized prices.
